Hello Eric,

I have a better Tip for you: use OpenNetworkers.info, we not only have access to all LinkedIn profiles, also all Myspace, facebook, Yahoo groups, Tribe, Ning etc etc profiles without having to have to be a member anywhere and being logged-in. Best of all is is all brought together in one Search...: It's the button to the right: Experts Sourcing. You will notice that we have added further, more detailed clustered searches, deep searches and people searches as well...

Makes quantity linking on Linkedin somewhat irrelevant doesn't it?

One other thing: as you I have over 15.000 direct contacts on LinkedIn. I have the same problem as you have, but that only happens with people who are as connected as we are.... The problem is less with less connected networks. Beyond the magical number of 7500 connections things change. Maybe the system is getting overloaded by the quantities, maybe (ad that's my guess LI doesn't like the Top networkers, we can connect too many people, without having to pay to send Inmails.. )
