I personally believe in the value of business networks, and I've had several opportunities knock at my door because of my networks, including LinkedIn. As an entrepreneur, I believe networks are particularly beneficial because we don't have the sheer numbers of the corporate world behind us.
I've created this group so that entrepreneurs and business owners can have a place to connect, exchange ideas, and help each other.
What would you most like to see from this group?
Please introduce yourself and invite your friends.

Thanks for sharing your favorite sites, Chase. Who else has favorite sites they would like to share?
You have to be visible, let people find you, too.
NETS WORK and they lead to Greater NET WORTHS. RELATIONSHIPS FIRST....Transactions will come in time. Give away whatever you may need in the Future. 1. Never be Offended 2. Always ask what someone is working on and what they need next....FIRST. 3. Withhold nothing that you can easily do for anyone you meet. 4. Celebrate Diversity..don't persecute it....makes for a better stew. I really only try to find that person that I am divinely on assignment to, or that may be on assignment to me....and I always meet them and many more in the process. Whatever you Honor will Honor you. The poor think short term in their relationships, wanting to know what they can get from someone today. The Very Wealthy think Long term, Generationally, 10 years ahead at least. The Middle Class thinks month to month, Poor Week to week, Very Poor...Day to day. Think long term.

I agree. I'm amazed when I see networkers scurry to accumulate the most number of links. What can one person do with 10,000 impersonal links except poke their chest out and brag about how many are in their network? Quality is lost in quantity. If by chance you remember one sells Real Estate in the Chicago Area, and you have a college buddy that was just offered a job there, and needs recommendations of places available, you might get lucky. How do you determine if they are qualified or for that matter have the integrity to have your friend’s best interests in mind. Why you justed picked them out of the litter, you really don’t know anything about them, other than they are in your 11,000 contact database. I prefer a smaller more intimate group of contacts. We all know each other’s businesses, family, and friends. We keep in contact, hang out together or meet up when we cross paths. We know family member names, favorite colors, what we did last weekend, and each other’s birthday. That way when I need a job, a client, a reference, a new car, recommendations or just friendly chat, I won’t have to search through a sea of contacts. I know them and they know me.
Just my thoughts
