What would you like to see in a pet professional?
Hello All,
I have been a pet professional for almost 40 years. But much has changed in how people view pet ownership in all that time. However, much has stayed the same...ironically. Especially the love that we have for our pets. So in that spirit, I would like to take a survey: If you were hiring a pet professional; someone who was to take direct care of your pets in your absence what would you want to see? Here are some points to perhaps consider:
Professionalism; integrity
Branding; logos, uniforms
Experience; how long, and in what?
Certifications; 1st Aid, CPR, other?
Personal impressions; how important?
Insurance?
Takes credit cards?
What's important to you?
Feel free to change or expand these suggestions. After all these years in the business, I would like to take stock of what is in the minds of the general animal-loving public.
