I have written and posted a series of article about how to market on social media sites. Like anything some things work and some not so much. Yet, I see the same mistakes being made over and over again.

I have gotten some push back from some in your face internet marketers when I ask them to stop these activities as it relates to me. So I have been making it a point to point out great articles that I did not write about the subject so as to deflect some of their criticism.

I found another great resource in my mailbox today. I get daily email updates from Search Engine Guide, I highly recommend this site as a SEO, social media, and Internet marketing resource. The article, No Short Cuts To Social Media Success goes to great lengths in explaining how to do social media correctly.

Social media marketing does work and the computer maker Dell’s use of Twitter is a good example, as pointed out in this post It Has Earned $3 Million From Twitter.

Social media is what is known as a slow close.

Just another voice… Asking that social be put back into social media marketing.
