Plu.sr feed: Finally I found a good/simple solution: Just copy this link and change the number at the end to your profile (go to your profile on Google+, you'll notice it in the url:

Update: this solution is not working anymore, why is Google making it so hard to get a RSS feed from your profile? I think they made the wrong choise for Google+. RSS is an asset bringing much visibility to your network, not a liability for spam if that's what's worrying them.

Google Alerts worked for just a few moments as well a few months ago, so let's keep an eye on the developments here and just try this solution every now and then as well:

1. go to your profile page and copy the hyperlink of that page without the /post at the end. So this is what you will be copying (except, use your own profile number: https://plus.google.com/103363359562250742737)

2. go to www.google.com/alerts and copy it to the Search area

3. request to be 'alerted' by RSS feed

4. safe the feed to your account and click on the orange RSS button You now have the page and the hyperlink which you can cascade to other sites so that your Google+ account is your central dashboard again, all by using Google tools, minimizing the chance that an external developer pulls the plug.

N.B.: It can take some time for the feed to show up, you will probably first get a message from Google explaining just that..

UPDATE: It was working in the beginning (as you can see from the screenshot underneath) but it seems that Google Alerts now is not generating Google+ plus profile feeds through Alerts anymore. I'll keep you informed..
