Instructions:

2) Now, you'll get anything about me, which probably isn't your query of choice. Just change my name at the end by your search. In my case I added 'social media':

3) Now click on advanced search underneath the blue Search button, because you would only like to see the results of the last 24hrs, instead of everything. Thus refine your search to e.g. the last 24 hrs.:

4) click 'Advanced Search' and there you have it: Realtime information about Google+ updates from anyone, anywhere..

N.B.: To make it easy for you, I have added this search tool to our toolbar: http://opennetworkers.ourtoolbar.com which you can use for free. No worries, it's safe and you can simply uninstall it as well.
