Commercial messages & sponsorship policy
You might have noticed that we have added some paid area's where you can
add your commercial messages or Jobs as a sponsor to the
ON.
We foremost aim to increase the quality of the ON discussions on the forum and other open areas. Already we can see the difference. Naturally it will also add a modest income to our funds so that we can keep testing and making the OpenSource networking tools for the benefit of all users.
So what does that mean to you if you want to promote your business?
1) Become a sponsor
2) Add your own Group, it is free. It will generate it's own area to add your commercial messages, it's own discussion forum and even RSS reader. Naturally you need and you Can invite your network to your Group to make it effective for you.
This way you still have a free way of promoting your messages, images and commercial discussions without bothering everyone, just your targeted Group audience.
Measures
We will remove commercial and non-appropriate material asap. We ask you to help us guard the quality by notifying the management if you come across such material in discussion, photo's, video's or even as a 'comment' to your profile. If someone is doing this too often he/she risks to be banned from the ON.
